Filled with love and support, this summer has been a great treasure for me. To all my loyal followers, friends and family – thank you so very much. I feel humbled and grateful that my artwork has brought happiness to you.
Another big shout also goes out to the media. It’s been great working together this year.
On September 19, I was delighted to be interviewed by CBC’s French division. I spoke to a kind man named Michel Charron, the art and culture reporter in Edmonton.
We managed to connect through the Calgary CBC studio before I departed for Florence. Michel put me at ease right away and I enjoyed chatting with him a lot.
Definitely, I was pretty nervous for my first radio interview. But in the end the response was heartwarming.

This summer also marked two very successful shows for me. Thanks to everyone who checked out the Cultivation of Art at Vale’s Greenhouse and the Light in the Valley show in Valley Ridge!
Media coverage by the Okotoks Western Wheel newspaper can be found here: http://www.westernwheel.com/article/20120620/WHE0302/306209935/0/whe
As well, please check out the Valley Breeze Newsletter featuring my art exhibit: http://www.suburbanjournals.ca/pdf/VR_1209.pdf
Going into 2013, I will be working hard to create new Daisy designs, Monochromatics and Funkies. These collections seemed particularly popular during the events.
Thanks again everyone! I couldn’t have done it without you!
